Speech Pathology & Psychological Assessments

A diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder requires confirmation by two or the following professionals. (Speech Pathologist/Psychologist/Paediatrician/Child Psychiatrist) to receive services via Autism SA. For the  purposes of application for funding via the National Disability Insurance Scheme, only one diagnosis is necessary. The NDIS requires ASD assessments to be carried out by a Psychologist or Paediatrician.

Sally-Ann understands that coming to a professional’s office can be a daunting experience for your child. It is for that reason that all assessments are conducted in Sally-Ann’s relaxed and family-oriented therapy room and garden.

Sally-Ann is able to work with professionals of your choice e.g. paediatricians, child psychiatrists and psychologists to conduct a first or second opinion regarding autism assessments.
