Professional Development

Sally- Ann keeps her skills and knowledge up-to-date by:

• Attending conferences and workshops
• Participating in Speech Pathology Australia’s Continued Professional Development (CPD) programme
• Participating in monthly Speech Pathology Associates in Private Practice meetings with a group of Speech Pathologists. The group provides peer support and discusses new techniques, tests, theories and technologies for the purpose of helping children and their families.
• Participating in Autism SA’s Diagnostician’s presentations.
• Observing typically developing children in childcare, kindergarten and school to keep her in tune with typical child development, new curricula and teaching methods.
• Providing workshops to parents, Child Care, Kindergarten and School staff.
